Description: With new innovations being established daily, designers need the necessary tools that optimize their design flow without sacrificing quality. Autodesk Fusion 360 provides your team with a collaborative and adaptive environment for your electronic and mechanical engineers. Congratulations, you have completed the placement of your part on the circuit board! Now it’s time to begin routing. Traditionally, after days of routing, the electronic engineer generates a 3D STEP file of the PCB and hands it off to the mechanical engineer to ensure that the LED and connectors are correctly aligned with the enclosure. Well, what happens if they don’t? Wasted time or even destroyed prototypes tested by your QA team. Stop wasting time and money and make sure that everyone involved has the latest project iteration without file conversions. When using Autodesk Fusion 360, we strongly suggest exporting the 3D model of your circuit board before spending any time routing it. After inserting the 3D model into the enclosure, the mechanical engineer can now move the electronic component based on any modification done to the enclosure. The edit-in-place capabilities in Fusion 360 allow the mechanical engineer to move parts using the PCB grid, with the added option to reflect the changes on the PCB in real time. With the parts correctly aligned and your connector correctly exposed, the electronic engineer can begin routing the PCB confidently and without wasting time. ►FREE TRIAL | autode.sk/31Sxeef ►SUBSCRIBE | autode.sk/30njGGX ►GET STARTED | autode.sk/30k2DWh CONNECT with Fusion 360 on social media: INSTAGRAM | autode.sk/2Enzh8P FACEBOOK | autode.sk/19jII5A TWITTER | autode.sk/19jIJXc LISTEN to the Fusion 360 podcast "The New Possible": BLOG | autode.sk/3qbFsFS SPOTIFY | autode.sk/3txPz9O APPLE | autode.sk/36LwBTE GOOGLE | autode.sk/2YQccbC
